Upper Arm Fat Can Be Caused By How Your Work

Did you know that poor work conditions can lead to more upper arm stout? Although this may sound ridiculous, research has shown this to be right.

We know this because of some exhaustive research done in the UK. This research demonstrated that too much stress at work is related to poor nutrition, less activity and more stout!

So here is what to look out for at your job:

1. Being the captain. Are you in control? Because not being in control is a primary cause of work-related stress. If you feel like you are simply dust in the wind, it may be time to start seeking a different position.

2. Tension. Does your neck get stiff? Do you feel tense or uptight? Too much tension in the workplace is a recipe for disaster. Seek out a more comfortable environment within your workplace. If this isn’t possible, you may want to start looking.

3. Clarity of given tasks. If the work you are supposed to do is unclear, stress will rise. Question your superiors for more clearly defined work. State how your productivity will increase and never point fingers. After all, finger pointing will only increase work-related stress.

4. Your rank. The research from the UK showed that lower ranking jobs lead to more weight gain. So if you are stuck in a lower ranking position, seek out other activities in which you can be more dominant. Perhaps you have a latent talent or leisure activity you have forgotten about.

5. Identity crisis. If your job is your identity, you run the risk of emotional roller coasters. Again, seek out activities outside of work so that you don’t fall into this trap. This is one of the main reasons why so many successful businessmen commit suicide once their operations flop.

I want to point out that there is only so much you can do. If you find that your workplace is simply not healthy, then please start taking the necessary steps for a transition. You deserve excellent health today, not tomorrow. And you just might find that the upper arm stout melts like butter!
